This week make sure you stop by the church during the day or early evening and experience the Pilgrimage. The Pilgrimage takes place in the Parish Life Center and is an experience of sight and sound commemorating the finals days before Christ's death and Resurrection.
The Pilgrimage has seven displays:
- The Last Supper (Jesus and the Disciples observed Passover)
- The Garden (where Jesus was betrayed)
- Pieces of Silver (Judas the Betrayer)
- Crown of Thorns (Jesus convicted)
- Spike and Mallet (Christ nailed to the cross)
- His Cross (Christ crucified)
- Torn Curtain (Death of Christ)
Each display allows you to experience these last days of Christ by actually walking through and around, touching objects, hearing sounds, seeing inspiring images and living what happened. This is a very special opportunity and there are handouts to help you understand and make sense of what happened during Holy Week.
